Future Growth

After-school and holiday opportunities may be considered as OSASERE develops from its initial Saturday programme.

― Phase 1

The first programme is deliberately small.

OSASERE plans to begin with one cohort, a six-to-eight-week Saturday pilot and a two-hour weekly session in an accessible hired venue.

Indicatively, the starting group may be 6-8 participants, subject to individual assessment. The team will be adjusted to assessed needs rather than relying on a universal staffing ratio.

Start small. Learn well.

The initial model is community activity / short-break style provision unless professional advice confirms a broader scope.

Transport during the pilot is planned to be parent/carer arranged. Specialist activities will use established leisure or specialist venues rather than buying complex facilities.

An 18-25 programme will be designed separately after the children’s service is stable because safeguarding, commissioning and adult-service considerations differ.
