Who is OSASERE for?
OSASERE is being developed for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. The initial age cohort will be confirmed before registration opens, with places considered against individual needs and assessment.
When will the first programme begin?
The first programme date will be confirmed once the venue, staffing, insurance, safeguarding arrangements and operational readiness are in place.
What activities are planned?
Planned activities include adapted sport and movement, sensory and calm activities, music and creativity, life skills and supported community activities. Some opportunities will be introduced as OSASERE develops.
How will you decide whether OSASERE can meet my child’s needs?
Support will be based on individual needs and assessment, with safety at the centre of every placement.
Will transport be provided?
Transport arrangements for the initial programme are planned to be parent/carer arranged and will be confirmed before registration opens.
How much will it cost?
Programme pricing will be published once the programme model and funding arrangements are confirmed.
Can Direct Payments or other funding be used?

Will there be a permanent OSASERE SEN Centre?
A dedicated OSASERE SEN Centre is a longer-term ambition. Development will follow evidence of need, safety, outcomes and readiness.
